The NCF was founded by Larry Burkett, Ron Blue and Terry Parker. These endowments were set up to insure funding for the future of Christian Sports International and the Appalachian Family Center. Check made out to National Christian Foundation and in memo field note name of the CSI Fund with number. Please see below.
Giving Fund Endowment #504334
The Giving Fund enables CSI to accept not only cash and publicly traded securities but also non-liquid assets that we were not able to receive. It allows supporters to contribute “in¬novative gifts” such as real estate and business interests – and generally receive immediate tax deductions while avoiding capital gains on the appreciation. The National Christian Foundation receives, manages, and liquidates these gifts for you, placing the net proceeds into Best of the Best “for the kids” Giving Fund.
Single Charity Fund Endowment #490849
The Single Charity Fund Endowment operates like the above stated Giving Fund, except it can only distribute to the charity creating the Single Charity Fund. The Single Charity Fund provides added comfort that the funds are “earmarked” only for the Appalachian Family Center Single Charity Fund and must be used for this project.
